May half-term is going to be a cracker as we celebrate White Post Farm's BIG FARM WEEK!

That means there's loads of extra exciting activities, events and displays to keep you busy all day long - and all included in the regular cost of admission. 

Archery, Welly Wanging, Dress the Scarecrow and Super-Sam the Entertainer. Also, no one will leave empty handed with our cool take-home crafts where you can build a bug hotel, make your own bird feeder and plant a sunflower seed and watch it grow at home!

The last two days of Big Farming Week, 3rd and 4th June is also hair-cut time for the woolly sheep! Our Shearer Mike Hewson will be on hand to trim the flock and answer all your questions.

PJ Masks!

Guess what? We have another cool character event – and it’s not far away.

On Saturday 10th June Catboy and Owlette from PJ Masks are coming to the Farm and will be appearing at intervals throughout the day. Make sure you bring you camera for some super selfie opportunities!

Farmer Anthony and Farmer George will be your hosts for the day with fun and games and giveaways throughout the day. We will also have farm favourites such as sheep racing, animal holding baby goat bottle feeding and more!

Is there any extra cost for this free-range fun? No way! In fact if you book farm admission online you get 10% off.

So if you’re a fan of PJ Masks Saturday 10th is a great time to come to the farm. We can’t wait and we hope to see lots of you down on the farm.

Paw Patrol!

Our next character event is going to be a cracker! After an amazing time at last year’s event Chase and Marshall are coming back to see you all here at the farm on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May.

Chase and Marshall will be making appearances at intervals throughout the day so make sure you bring a camera for some pawsome pics!

Farmer Anthony and Farmer George will be on-hand throughout the day with fun, games, competitions and giveaways. There will of course be all the usual free-range fun with animal holding, meet-a-reptile, baby lamb and goat bottle feeding and loads of play too. Make you come for the whole day – there’s so much to do!

Bing and Flop

Easter holidays begin on the 1st April and this year we kick off in style with our first character event – Bing and Flop.

Bing and Flop will be appearing at intervals throughout the day so make sure you bring your little bingsters to see them… and don’t forget your camera! There are going to be some amazing photo opportunities all day long. Lambs, goat kids, chicks and lots of other beautiful babies! It is also the first day of the Sheep Racing season – yesss!

Lovely lambs and chocolate treats!

Easter means lambing. Yesss!

Here at White Post Farm lambing has started and will continue into the Easter holidays. That means when you visit you will be able to meet and fuss the fantastic new arrivals. 

The Silver Barn is bouncing with babies from lambs to goat kids, chicks and baby rabbits! The Spring Pen is the perfect chance to meet all this season's superstars - all very cute and cuddly. 

The fun begins on the 1st April with a visit from Bing and Flop. What a great way to start! Make sure you pre-book your farm admission - and get 10% off!

Weird and Wonderful week

This February half term is our first ever Weird and Wonderful week. The event will run for 9 days from Saturday 11th February, there's going to be lots going on with something for every family member to enjoy!

After the success of Professor Fizzx science shows last year he's back. He’ll be doing two "all about amazing air” shows a day, this is an interactive science lesson so get ready to have fun, be amazed and learn lots all at the same time!

For the first time we’ll be hosting a brand new Amazing Reptile Show, so you can learn all about these weird and wonderful creatures. You can meet them all, from a snake to a gecko and impress your friends with some cool facts!

There will be messy play area especially designed with the little ones in mind as well as craft activities for all the family to take part in, see who can make the best memento to take home. Also see if you can complete our farm stamp hunt to be entered into a prize draw to win a family pass.

All this and the normal favourites too: There’s the farm disco where you can bust some moves with Compost the Rabbit or Chip the Chicken, our ever popular animal holding and reptile stroking will be also on as usual so you can get up close to some animals.

What more could you want, with something for everyone make sure you come down to the farm! Prepare to see it all, from the weird to the wonderful!!

Character days!!

Exciting times are ahead at the farm as we have an amazing variety of character days coming up this year. We’re bringing in some brand new faces and some trusted old friends will be returning, so save the dates and get ready to come and see your favourites!

Our first visitors will be Bing and Flop who will be on the farm on Saturday 1st of April.

Then we’ve got two heroic pups from PAW Patrol returning for a two day special on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th May.

On Sunday 30th July Thomas and The Fat Controller will be here.

Finally we have the ever popular Peppa Pig on Monday 28th August.

All the characters will appear at intervals throughout the day when they come to visit. Make sure you have your cameras charged and ready to capture some awesome photos.

Of course all our amazing animals will still be there as well, they wouldn’t miss the character days for the world! There will also be our various farm activities happening like reptile stroking and animal holding. So make sure you have a good explore and see what else is on offer.

Recruitment Morning 2017

Saturday 14th January


We are looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic people who are ready to put on a performance and engage with our lovely visitors. Can you present the Farm Show? Commentate on Sheep Racing? Guide a group of excited school kids around the farm and tell them all about our amazing animals? Serve hungry customers with a smile on your face and a spring in your step? We want you!

Here's a few other things that are important to us:-

  • You MUST be at least 16 years old.
  • You should be a driver OR be able to get to work any day of the week.
  • You should be able to work weekends and bank holidays.
  • You must be confident, outgoing and keen to talk to people and present to large groups of people.

Our recruitment morning in on Saturday 14th January at 8.30am. It is a good chance for us to have a bit of a chat and for you to tell us about yourself. Please bring a photo of yourself that will help us to remember everyone. :-)  Job descriptions and application forms will be available to fill out on the day.

Breakfast with Santa

Join us for a Christmas breakfast with elves, reindeer and Santa Claus himself!

We have a great Christmas event for you to enjoy! Santa Claus will be at the farm on Friday the 23rd of December for a Christmas breakfast.

We are offering both child and adult packages for Santa’s breakfast. £19.99 each and under 2’s are just £10!

You will arrive on the farm at 8.15am before it is open to the public and our elves will be there to look after you, they’ll even introduce you to our reindeer friends! Then it’s time to fill your bellies with some yummy breakfast between 8.30 and 9am. Santa will be there at 8.45am and the elves will take you over to meet and spend some time with him. The kids will get a fantastic goody bag and certificate and I’m sure they can even tell Santa what they want for Christmas too!

Then it’s free time to get some photos and to take part in our craft activities which they can take home later. They'll get a free helium balloon as well as some awesome face paint ready for the day ahead. 

Don’t worry adults there’s plenty for you too, the adult package includes a sausage and bacon cob as well as unlimited hot drinks during breakfast, so you can relax whilst Santa does the babysitting. At 10am when the farm opens to the public you'll all get some free animal food and entrance to farm for the day so you can go off and explore! Why not use your animal food included in the package to give the animals their breakfast? Yum!

A White Post Farm Christmas

Santa is coming to White Post Farm! He'll be bringing some Christmas spirit everyday from the 26th of November where you can see him as well as our very own real Reindeer.There will be a fantastic nativity play for all and if that wasn't enough we'll have some new born animals throughout December. Best of all its all in the price of our normal admission!

Of course all our other animals will still be there, they wouldn’t want to miss Christmas for the world. You can even give them some presents...  AKA some four or two legged animal food!

There are three ways to see Santa at the farm this year so please give us a call if you'd like to talk about our very special Christmas celebrations - we are always glad to chat! Call our friendly office team on 01623 882977 and time from 8.30am.
