Here are some fun facts and information about our Fallow Deer!

Fallow Deer communicate with each other using body languages, vocalisation and smells! You may have seen our Fallow Deer at the top of our field walk, living with our Red Deer, Lizzie & Heidi.

IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated.

Diet: They mostly graze on grass and leaves in the summer, and eat bark, nuts and berries during the winter.

Habitat: Fallow Deer can be found in woodland, grassland, heathland, moorland and farmland in Asia.

Fun fact: Fallow Deer are very good at swimming!
