The busiest time of the year is approaching, which means we have lots of events for all our visitors to get involved in! As the colder season approaches, it’s time to plan the festivities and get your spooktacular evenings booked in.🎃
Halloween at the Farm!
Join us from 18th October to 31st October for Halloween at the Farm! Come along and pick your pumpkin and get lost in our haunted maze. Join the team in our Witch & Wizards school for potion making, find out which Halloween house you belong to and get involved in some spooky crafts. Come along to our ‘Creepy Crawly Club’ talks to meet some reptiles and insects.
Make sure you wear your best fancy dress to make the most of the photo opportunities throughout your day!
NEW for 2025… The Scarecrow Trail! Head around the farm and spot the scarecrows to win a Halloween treat… or could it be a trick?
Every paying child will receive a free pumpkin to get stuck in with the activities!
Pumpkin Paint & Sip!
Our most popular evening is back! Join us for an autumnal Paint & Sip evening to paint and decorate your pumpkin on Friday, 10th October. Start your evening by meeting some reptiles and creepy crawlies to get some inspiration, before heading to the Tea Rooms to create your masterpiece.
Paints and resources provided—a welcome drink on arrival, along with hot food and drinks available to purchase throughout the evening.
Halloween by Torchlight Evenings
Our spooky evenings are back this Halloween! With a different after-dark evening, to suit everybody, you can come along and enjoy the farm after-hours.
Pups & Pumpkins – Saturday 18th October 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Our dog-friendly night is back!
Due to popular demand, we have brought our ‘Pups and Pumpkins’ back this Halloween. Bring your pooches along on Saturday, 19th October, for some Halloween fun!
There will be a free bag of dog treats for every pooch that comes along, as well as a pumpkin Photo Booth for some pawesome doggy photoshoots!
Adults Only – Friday 24th October 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
We have brought our Adults Only evening back this Halloween for a night of torchlit fun! Come along and enjoy a child-free night of fun at the farm and get in the spooky spirit.
The farm will be childless for one night only this Halloween, so bring along your torches and get stuck in! With lots of spooky activities, food and drink and animal fun all evening… You don’t want to miss it!
Halloween by Torchlight: Family – Saturday 25th October! 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Come and join us for our Halloween by Torchlight evening on Saturday, 25th October.
With spooky activities, our pumpkin patch is open til late, and lots of animal fun to be had after-hours.
Bring along your torches for a family night of fun, and enjoy the farm life at dusk for a spooky Halloween evening!

Come and join us for our SEN Halloween by Torchlight evening on Tuesday, 28th October. Bring along your torches for a family night of fun and enjoy the farm life at dusk for a spooky Halloween evening.
With lower capacity and a relaxing Halloween timetable of activities, it is suitable for those who prefer a quieter environment.
Home Educator Day: Super Senses!
Thursday 6th November
Our next Home Educator Day will be taking place on Thursday 6th November.
Join us for a day of free-range fun, where you will be able to join in with all our usual farm activities, as well as some added extras.
The theme of the day is ‘Super Senses!’ Expect to use your senses throughout the day, as well as discovering animals that have different senses from us, which they use to thrive!
Christmas at the Farm!
Join us this Christmas for a full day of Festive Fun here at White Post Farm. You can come anytime from when the farm opens, but select what time you want to join Santa here:
- In this group experience, settle down in your very own Christmas sleigh with your family. See Santa and listen to him read you a special Christmas story. Then make sure you get a perfect picture with him before his Elves take you to their workshop to choose a gift! (Please arrive at the Christmas Barn 10 minutes before the time slot you have chosen.)
- Christmas Admission includes two coins each to spend at the Christmas Market. Will you treat yourself to a hot chocolate, marshmallow roasting, a sweet treat, help Ginger Snap decorate her Gingerbread or make some reindeer dust to take home for Christmas Eve?
- 2 Elf snowflake coins for hot chocolate, 2 to roast marshmallows, 1 to make reindeer dust, 2 for Gingerbread decorating, 1 upwards for a treat from the sweetshop.
- See newborn lambs, due to be born at the start of December.
- Access to the whole farm, all day, including the Reptiles of the World Exhibit and our indoor Jungle Barn.
- NEW for 2025..Winter Games, send your wish to Santa with our very special ‘Wishing Tree’, and Mrs Claus comes to town!
Gloworm Presents… Light Post Farm!
Join us this festive season at Gloworm presents Light Post Farm, running from 22nd November – 23rd December 2025!
As evening falls, step into a sparkling world of twinkling lights, Christmas joy, and magical surprises. Wrap up warm, sip a hot chocolate, and enjoy an enchanting evening, brought to you by Gloworm and Christmas at White Post Farm.
What’s Included
- Wander through our 1km illuminated Christmas trail, filled with glowing lights and festive cheer.
- Discover the Reptiles of the World Exhibit and the indoor Jungle Barn – both included with your ticket.
- Visit the farm and meet our animals – with newborn lambs expected in early December!
