Here are some fun facts and information about our Armadillos

Armadillos: Ahmed & Matilda are two of our six-banded armadillo’s here at the farm, with the third being their offspring Delilah! We also have a new addition – Dougie!

IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern.

Diet: Six-banded armadillos are omnivores and their diet consists of vegetables and invertebrates.

Habitat: They can be found across eastern South America, from the open savanna to the forests.

Fun fact: Armadillo means ‘little armoured one’ in Spanish!
