All about our Burmese Brown tortoises!

Burmese Brown Tortoise: Our Burmese Browns are called Mo, Nanda & Sanda, who live in the enclosure next to our Sulcata tortoises.

IUCN Red List Status: Critically Endangered.

Diet: Their diet consists of grasses, weeds and leafy greens, and occasionally some earthworms too!

Habitat: They are found in the forest regions of countries across southeastern Asia.

Fun Fact: The shell of a tortoise is made from the same keratin as human fingernails.
