ICUN Red List Status: Vulnerable

Diet: Carnivorous, eating birds and mammals.

Habitat: They are found throughout Southern and Southeast Asia, in marshes, grasslands and swamps.

Fun Fact: They have become an invasive species in Florida, particularly in South Florida, where large numbers of Burmese Pythons can be found in the Everglades. This is largely due to the pet trade.
