Meet our Cape Porcupines!

Here are some fun facts and information about Priscilla and Fiddich, our Cape Porcupines.

Our two Cape Porcupine’s are called Fiddich, our male, and Priscilla, our female. They live together next to our Meerkats.

IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern.

Diet: Their diet mostly consists of root vegetables, fruit and berries.

Habitat: Cape Porcupines live in forests, grasslands and deserts of sub-saharan Africa.

Fun fact: Each individual has up to 30,000 quills and spines.
