Here at White Post we’re more than just your average farm! We’re enthusiastic about education so have a range of ways you can stay and learn with us, from our Little Farmers Club to our guided farm tours, you’re bound to take in something new!
On top of our structured learning packages we’re flexible and imaginative! So if you’re learning about a specific topic we’re happy to work with you to develop activities for your group.

LITTLE FARMERS CLUB

Little Farmers is a weekly group for children aged 2-4 years which aims to develop their early learning skills in a hands-on environment. The sessions are held at the farm every weekday morning from 10am until 12 noon. Each week is based on a story!

The sessions are run by two experienced members of our education team, with all the bespoke activities/crafts made to encourage learning and personal development. Little Farmers is also a great chance for your little ones to socialise.

You do not have to attend every session, so if you want to pop along for a few sessions a term, please do! Prices include hot drinks for the adults, and all the resources (plus snacks) for the little ones:

Child (+ Adult) = £10.50

Additional Adults/Children = £6.00

RANGER ACADEMY

Aimed at 14 – 18 year olds it’s the perfect introduction for those working towards a career with animals or for those with a passion for animals.

What is Ranger Academy?

Over the course of 3 days, you will be working alongside our keepers to assist them with caring for our animals. You can expect to be involved with cleaning out enclosures and creating enrichment, as well as gaining theoretical knowledge. It’s the perfect introduction for those who are interested in working towards a career with animals or for those who are passionate about animals.

Graduate from Ranger Academy with a bespoke certificate of achievement and feedback from the Ranger Team – perfect for adding to your CV!

The Ranger Academy is a 3 day course running from 9am to 1pm. It includes a daily snack.

Our next Ranger Academy is a three day course, running from the 9th April – 11th April. Book online here.

RANGER ACADEMY: EXPLORATION

Aimed at 18+ year olds it’s the perfect introduction for those working towards a career with animals or for those with a passion for animals.

What is Ranger Academy?

Ranger Academy: Exploration (18+ years) 26th – 27th April – Springtime Special

Whether you are interested in a career change or simply want to see what it’s like to work with animals, you can conquer your fears over the two-day period of Ranger Academy: Exploration.

Graduate from Ranger Academy with a bespoke certificate of achievement – perfect for adding to your CV!

This Ranger Academy is a 2 day course running from 9am to 1:30pm on Saturday and Sunday and includes a hot drink. You will need to bring a packed lunch or you can purchase refreshments at our catering outlets.

Home Educator Days

Join us for a day of free-range fun, where you will be able to join in with all of our usual farm activities as well as some exclusive extras. Home Educator Days focus on an animal, welfare or conservation topic with exclusive activities and talks at selected times over the day for visitors to participate in.

Guided Farm Tour

Ideal for schools and organised groups. An exciting and interactive tour tailored specifically to your requirements. Either linked to your current topic or just a full day of free range fun. Your guide will meet you as your coach arrives and stay with you until they are waving goodbye.
Meet and feed friendly animals and learn about what makes them special. Play and explore no matter what time of year.
Minimum of 20 paying people (Term time – Monday to Friday).
Child: £8.95 each
1:5 adults FOC
Extra Adults: £8.95

The Conservation Challenge – Guided Experience

Aimed at uniformed groups, the Conservation Challenge is a guided farm tour where you will also undertake some extra activities to complete the challenge!
As well as the usual Guided Farm tour activities (as seen above), you can finish the challenge and earn a bespoke White Post Farm Conservation Challenge badge!
Minimum of 20 paying people (weekends, evenings and school holidays only)
Child: £13.95 each (badge included)
