Little Farmers Club
Take a look at our Little Farmers Club aimed at 2-4 year olds. Fun and interactive learning every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in term time.
Each week has its own topic based on a story-book and involves an animal activity as well as a fun take-home craft! A snack is provided for the little ones, as well as a hot drink for the adults!
Little Farmers is a weekly group for children aged 2-4 years which aims to develop their early learning skills in a hands-on environment. The sessions are held at the farm every weekday morning from 10am until 12 noon. Each week is based on a story!
The sessions are run by two experienced members of our education team, with all the bespoke activities/crafts made to encourage learning and personal development. Little Farmers is also a great chance for your little ones to socialise.
Term starting 23rd February
This week, the Little Farmers will be celebrating Random Acts of Kindness! They will be getting involved in various activities around the farm to complete their own acts of kindness, such as; stroking our animals, smiling or waving at one of the WPF Farmers & giving the animals some food.
This week’s craft will be making a suncatcher that the little farmers can take home
This week, the Little Farmers will be giving our Mangalica and Oxford Sandy and black pigs some enrichment treats! We also hope to have some little piglets around this time that the Little Farmers can see.
This week’s craft will be making a paper-plate pig based on what you have seen today.
This week, we will be meeting the WPF slithery and scaly animals! The little farmers will get the opportunity to meet one of our famous snakes, as well as see some artefacts and snake sheds from our larger snakes.
This week, our Little Farmers favourite activity is back… messy play! The messy play will be themed around dinosaurs.
This week, our Little Farmers Club will be enjoying their very own private tractor ride around the farm, where they can get up close with our lovely WPF cows.
The craft for ‘Tractor Tractor’ week will be making our very own lollipop stick tractor, like what we drove around on!
This week, we will be meeting our rabbits to celebrate Easter, as well as searching for all of the different eggs we see at the farm, which are not chocolate!
The craft for this week will be making our own carrot footprints to take home.
