All about our Honey Bees!

Here are some fun facts and information about the importance of Honey Bees.

Our Honey Bees live in their hive here at the farm, making some delicious honey!

IUCN Red List Status: Data Deficient.

Diet: Their diet consists of the pollen they go out and collect, as well as sugary alternatives such as fondant. This is provided by the beekeepers if pollen is lacking in the Winter months.

Habitat: Honey Bees can be found worldwide, excluding Antarctica. 

Fun fact: A strong bee colony can fly, between them, the equivalent distance from the Earth to the moon everyday!
