Here are some fun facts and information about our Mongolian Gerbils.

Mongolian gerbils are sociable animals and far happier when living with others. In the wild, they often live in family groups.

IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern.

Diet: Their diet mostly consists mainly of seeds and a small amount of vegetables.

Habitat: Gerbils live in deep, underground burrows which they dig themselves. They spent most of their time in these burrows, and only leave for food and water.

Fun fact: Gerbils use the sand to clean and keep their fur shiny and clean!
