Here are some fun facts and information about Ulrich and Nimbus, our Giant Cloud Rats.

Ulrich and Nimbus, our two Northern Luzon Giant Cloud rats, live in our Nocturnal Room in the Top Yard!

IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern.

Diet: Cloud rays feed on a variety of vegetation and therefore vegetables are the bulk of its diet in captivity.

Habitat: They live in rainforests and scrub and are native to a small island in the Philippines. 

Fun fact: Cloud rats can grow up to 70cm long!
